ABOUT US
RISE formed in December 2014 during an International Summit Gathering of the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN), held in the old fishing village of Yoff, Dakar, Senegal under a sacred baobab tree.
We have since merged with the UBUNTU project giving birth to a new vision of Rise Ubuntu Network (RUN). We are a grassroots movement made up of organizations, communities, activists, and leaders dedicated to creating lasting change for the planet, ecosystems, and social justice for all.
MISSION
To remind people of the power of community, that together we are change makers. Through our actions intentions and purpose a new world is possible.
VISION
Empowered change makers, thriving eco communities and organisations practising and living the spirit of Ubuntu and implementing regenerative solutions.
OUR GOAL
